Beginning in my Junior year, I assumed the role of VP for the Business Administration Society (BAS) as USD. I co-lead an organization of business students focused on professional development, career readiness, and community engagement. I support executive leadership, oversee cross-functional teams, and help coordinate programming that connects students with industry professionals.

Responsibilities
• Co-manage a 7-person executive board with the President
• Plan and execute professional development events for BAS members
• Coordinate guest speakers, USD professionals, and alumni panels
• Work closely with two faculty advisors to align programming with department goals
• Maintain member engagement across newsletters, Instagram, and campus outreach

• Alcala Bazaar Booth — Helped promote club adn member numbers
• Resume Workshop — Led students in workshop to improve resume and know what recruiters are looking for
• Entrepreneurship Panel — Brought in 4 speakers who began their own business
• Careers in Law Panel — Brought in 4 speakers working in different fields of law

• How to manage a cross-functional executive team and delegate effectively
• Strengthening communication skills by collaborating with advisors, speakers, and campus departments
• Gaining experience planning large-scale events from concept to execution
• Building confidence in budgeting, logistics, and multi-step project coordination
• Developing leadership presence through public-facing roles and member engagement
